Preparing the Body
Your body is designed for birth, but support makes a difference:
Gentle movement and strength: Prenatal yoga, walking, and mindful stretching help build endurance, flexibility, and body awareness.
Breathing and relaxation: Practicing slow, intentional breathing supports oxygen flow and helps regulate the nervous system during labor.
Rest and nourishment: Prioritizing sleep, hydration, and nutrient-dense foods lays a strong foundation for energy and recovery.
Body awareness: Learning birthing positions and listening to physical cues builds trust in your body’s abilities.
Preparing the Mind
